Hey Folks,
I was getting a weird clunking sound in the front and discovererd that there are 10 screws/nuts that hold the 2 piece rotor together and 20 shims. 9 out of the 10 retainer clips are snapped of and 18 shims are missing causing the rotor to have play and clunk! I called up mercedes but they do not sell the parts separately according to the parts guy but he had no idea what i was referring to. Anybody else ever had this problem? Does anybody have an old set of 2 piece e63 or cls63 rotors sitting around that would not mind helping a fellow mb owner. I will gladly compensate you for your time.Thanks

I have a few 2 piece MB rotors lying around cls63 and slk55 wich use the same hardware. I was going to try and fit them on my 220 but haven't had the time. Pm me a offer and I can send you the hardware you need.

Btw, never personally seen this happen before. Sounds dangerous.

I had my old rotor and removed all the hardware. The 20 shims are actually 10, they are one piece. If the aluminum hat is messed up could send you that as well. Pm me.
