Hey guys i know most of you would say to do oem coolant and what not but there is also guys out there using other stuff so i thought i'd get multiple opinions on our coolant, i know there isnt really much talk about it so maybe we can clear a few things out. I am doing my flush in a few days or so and bought a gallon of Zerex G-05. What do you all think

It's just coolant..not a big deal. Just try to keep it the same kind or oem. You can put water in there and it'll work theoretically.
Should be fine. Someone listed the major brand you can buy that just labels it for MB, but been a few years since I saw that thread. I pretty much run distilled water and watter wetter in mine but safer to stick to the specifications from MB.

Berti the G-05 is OEM
And yes there is a extender pack in the header tank so that it can last 10 years not sure if you can replace it, I'll find out next year, and no not all antifreeze is the same, I would advise not to use the green antifreeze but you can do a search on that nightmare on any MB forum.

On a side note, when I did my HE install, I grabbed a bottle of the G05 on my way to the shop. When I got home that night, I went to put it away and found that I had a half bottle left over from working on my Jeep. Turns out SRT uses the same coolant. Since it's such a relatively unique coolant, I never thought I'd actually have some sitting at the house. Now I have 2 half used bottles on my shelf.

I know I'll get beat up for this, but he goes. If i have a car that I've spent a very high amount on let's say after marketing type of stuff, you better bet I'm not going to spend less money on coolant. Just get the OEM! !
Again, to each is own.

First of all, i was doing some research and i wanted to know what the masses were using as for antifreeze fluid.
