My last trip out there required me to drive through a blizzard to get there. I remember Marco drove his CL65 monster from Chicago to MIR through the snow storm with DR's on his car, I could not beleive when he walked into the hotel, I thought for sure he would not be making it.

argh - didn't realise this was F1 weekend in Austin.
Unfortunately paddock club tickets are more important than MIR.
Will organise something at either palm beach or bandenton in January (you guys up north will need to come down and thaw out).

is there anyway there could be a live streaming of this event? i think theres going to be some new records and i would love to spend my day watching it happen! i cant make it up there but would love to watch

Ha! There is a 100% chance that I try and make it, for 50% of the event, but only if there is a 20% or less chance of rain. There's also a 0% chance that I won't be 100% drunk by nightfall.

Are you planning to run your car? if you can add that percentage that would be great this way I'll no less afterwards. It seems like a very hard event to miss even if its as a spectator.

I am debating whether to leave Friday night or Saturday really early and and stay Sat. night? I have a 6 hour drive...what time do we start on Sat.? Peeps coming a long distance...are you guys staying around Fri. or Sat. night?

Getting icey, 35* here in the ATL this morning. Going to try and head to Commerce drags this Saturday morning for some shake down runs with the sauce.

new carbon fiber clutch is in and broken in for the car. ill be at bowling green on sat 60* is the high approx 500 da and looking for a low 11 high 10 pass!!

I am not volunteering, I will be focusing on making some record shattering passes but maybe you can find someone willing to do this.
