AMG aftermarket warranties anyone?
Hey, Im a new member, and I am in the process of purchasing a 2008 e63. Mercedes will not sell warranties on AMG vehicles (at least in houston). Ive been looking for an after market warranty for some time and I cannot find anyone that is willing to cover AMG and I refuse to buy the car without some sort of warranty.. Any ideas? Recommendations?

I know Fidelity Warranty Services gets a bad rap but they have been good to me. The warranty has paid for itself atleast 4 times already.

Mine was a waste of money. I never got anything out of it really. The only thing I could possibly gotten was the fuel pump/sender which I took care of myself. Other things considered wear items such as Airmatic are not covered.

military affiliation. i qualified because my dad served. also for the e55. 10 years or newer Nd under 115k. i already have a warranty through pensky 3yr/36k but it doesnt cover airshocks or the super charger and some other things. but the usaa covers all. so i plan to get that for a short term and have them replace the stuff mine doesnt cover. maybe i'll go for a 1yr/12k or something

I have had my rear seals replaced, they were leaking, alternator, front sway bar, i just needed the bushing but Mercedes don't sell just the bushing you have to buy the whole front sway bar, front passenger airmatic strut, head gasket leak, and my go/start button stop working for some reason. got all work done at the stealership with only paying 100 deductible.

I got my NAC pinnacle plan from a guy i met online.
1-800-548-1875 and ask for local agents.
Get more than one and shop them against each other.
Airmatic COVERED .. Fixed mine 3 months ago at dealership. Didnt cover the resulting alignment though (1600 bill cost me 250). Fixed engine mounts, intake manifold gasket n bolts, and front control arms.
I highly recommend. If you can still get it for a good price.
Shop all the companies too.. 2 yrs ago i saw quotes from $3-4k all the way up to 15,000$ for a warranty (the 15,000$ was for fidelity from MB dealer of course).
My .02 is that if you can get it for under $5000 with 4 years or more of coverage, it is definitely worth it...(if you do not do the big work yourself, like me)

I have one, covers everything(minus air shocks) but everything else in the airmatic system. I've had it pay for a ball joint, cooling pump, alternator... no deductible, I only pay the tax on parts.
I think the name of it is Preferred Warranties or something? I cant remember

well i went to the dealer to cancel my penske warranty that i bought through them and change to usaa. funny thing is a couple months after i bought my warranty, they switched to united auto care and their platinum plan beat the usaa plan, it was about 900 more but what swayed me was the usaa is a what is covered plan and the united platinum plan is a what is not covered which cut down on the questions by clearly stating what is not covered.
