Anyone running 235/35/20 F?
My guy at the tire store says he has had excellent luck with them. It is the tiniest bit of spec off a 245/40/20. My car is pretty low in the front, and I wouldn't mind that extra MM or two of impact protection, and maybe just a touch lihgter steering effort. He has both in stock so I'm going to fit them up and see. Just wondered if any of you guys had tried it, maybe you had a picture also....thanks.

A new 245/40/20 will rub on the upper arm ball joint thread... I ground about 5mm on mine and it was fine

no, I'm running 245/40 now with no interference or trimming. And the overall difference will be less than .75, not more. At least in the PSS.

Wait, you're running a 245/40_20 right now? That's 2" taller than stock! That's not a tiny bit off spec. The correct upsize tire for moving from the stock 18" rim to a 20" rim is 245/30, not 245/40.
As far as overall difference between the stock 245/40_18 and the 235/35_20, it is 0.76".

100% 245/40/20 rubbed on the upper arm ball joint bolt when I used the brake and went over bumps,
I now have 255 30 20 and they are fine, I switched to this size after I buckled 3 front wheels as 245/30/20 looks great but it has little protection

Unfortunately,
that wont work for those of us with low ride height...that's why I was wondering about the 235/35....
