Advice on changing rear air bags
I see many threads on here about rear bags, and like many, one of mine has gone bad. I ordered a set from Arnott and they should be here now.
The company puts out a great manual on how to replace them and in speaking with a tech, he indicated that there is an easier way to replace them without having to remove the drive-shaft and what looks like a good portion of the rear suspension.
So has anyone on the list done the job and are there any shortcuts to make it easier?

Was blown, now fixed. Pretty easy job thanks so the forums here.
Working on a pile of parts for spring, including that Euroteck
so have a couple more issues that need attention, but i'll get them all chased down

Thanks! We both liked the color (although wished it had a back interior and the P030 option), but the price was right! We were comparing this to an S8, but money wise, this was about 1/2 the price....
So by spring, it will look a lot like your's but in blue

While I did own a E430 years ago, I have little experience with MB so I have a pretty steep learning curve ahead of me.
I have been fortunate to have experience with other marques and have benefited greatly from other forums
so far, this has been a very positive experience. Only complaint so far is the lack of true performance parts available for the E63's (compared to Porsche's BMW's etc), and higher focus on 1/4 mile running vs road racing, but so far I've been treated very well
