Need Fog Lamp Light Upgrade Advice
2005 W211 with factory HID Headlights...Blacked out look...Headlights are black buckets and fog lamps are original NON-HID.
I am looking to upgrade to something brighter and black look...Going to replace the entire assembly...want bright white only...HID/LED/Whatever...
Maybe something different than factory look even...LED bar, halo...just want to see good at night and look good.
Any suggestions and pictures....Thanks..

Here's another from eBay seller watomiracing.
I believe those are Sonar brand and available from various additional sources:
tunersdepot.com or search for "Sonar W211 headlights".
They are available in a few different styles (black or bright/"chrome", with & without factory HID), and those with factory HID's (Bi-Xenon) use the factory HID bulb/ballasts, etc., so do your options homework before placing an order!
Please report back, because I'd also like to hear some feedback before I buy a set in the Spring.
I upgraded my factory Fogs with VVME 4300K (which are the brightest white) HID Slim Kits and CanBus error avoiding Capacitors.

I upgraded my fogs to HIDs as well.
I did not do it for the looks rather function. 3000k yellow , yellower than halogen lol
Work great on snow and fog.
Got em from DDM tuning with error cancelling and all.

I think the WALD LED's are the best fit. They look OEM and not aftermarket.

What is the fog lamp bulb size?
DDM tunning products are legit for the price. They also have excellent customer service. One of my friends had a problem with his ballast and they sent him a replacement free of charge.

Fog Lamp bulb size is H7
In my E63, i put 50w Cree LED H7.
Works perfectly. No CAN Bus error.

Out Of Control!!
first off do some googling... DDM products are crap. There are numerous threads on this site telling you to avoid them. Second, quality and the headlights from Ebay do not go hand in hand.
Open you headlights up and black them out... its fairly easy to do.
As for fogs, its going to be tough to find something blacked out that has decent light output. If you want something cool, look for the projectors fogs, pretty sure those housings come black too.
