E55 AMG Key Wont Turn. I Was stuck in my car :(
Thank god it happend in my garage. I'm in CT it's -3•f out here. So I did a lot of errands finally came home and i noticed that I parked a little to close to the garage door so I went to move the car up a little. I sat in the car THE KEY TURNED BUT THE CAR DIDENT START!!! so I removed the key and i gave it another try but this time the key it dident turn at all. It was like as like as if there was no battery. Nothing was working WTF I try to unlock the car it won't budge I tried turning the radio turning the light on NOTHING. I waited 30 sec door opened key was working and car started with normal voltage readings. What the hell it has been doing that but not often as now and this one has gotten much worse. Wth HELP PLZ

I am pretty sure the white hose is your overflow for collant or maybe its from the winshield washer lines.

I wonder if its the car battery module or if it's the EIS(car key switch) idk based on what I am explaining what can it be? Can I also add that I did my oil change and I noticed a hose hanging off from the starter idk where it connects to. It's a hose in the middle is a white plastic looking thingy and in the end of it is a hose that connects to something idk

Yea I was stuck in the car in my garage minus 3 degrees. I woke up 4am last night turned the car on drove it around a lil and everything seems normal idk but that hose is weird idk if it can be for the coolant or windshield washer because its hanging right of where the starter is.

i havent had a issue with my aux battery.. been years and years, but im not sure what the symptoms would be if it was bad...
i would hook a battery charger up to the main battery and see if things start to work, if they do than get a new battery, 6 years is getting pretty old anyways.
car key battery i would just replace for a few bucks and not worry if its the problem. 9 years old i would get one whether its your problem or not.

Bad key batteries will not stop the car from starting. The batteries are for just central locking and panic buttons... Don't believe me? Sit in your car, take the batteries out of the key and start the car. A lot of people don't know this. Charge or change your system battery in the trunk. If you get nothing, try another key. If you don't have another key to try, start by ordering a new key.

^^^This.
The key is powered via induction while in the ignition, so with dead/low/no batteries the car will start and run normally. I would try another key and see if the problem persists.
