I spoke with a sales rep with Vivid Racing, he is willing to work a group buy, he wants to first know how many guys are interested before giving pricing. But I can tell you now it's going to need to be 10 or more at the very least... As always the more people the better the pricing.

I gotta agree... I would gladly go for a knockoff that looks good. I could care less about authentic wald or whatever other company that makes them and sells it at extremely high profit margins. The only reason I haven't purchased the ftp ones is bc they look cheap. Just against a backing with holes randomly drilled out of half of one of the brackets. Show me one that looks like an OEM finished product for $300 that works and I'm completely down.

if Vivid thinks they can charge $700 retail, they're high out of their minds. Most shops I contacted quote between $500-550.
That said, I'll put my name down just to see what sort of crazy price they come up with.
