Eurocharged s/c pulley defected
Hello im just woundering my sc pulley is making a noise sounds like a bearing .but theres no signs that the bearing is bad ..I found that the back plate of sc pulley is lose and the springs may be bad ..can you guys help me define this if its true or no ? I will contact Eurocharged soon

pretty hard to tell as the engine is running, but the clack its making sounds like the plate is loose. You can be sure by taking the belt off and spinning and feeling it with your hand. Try if the plate is loose or not, it should be "solid" a little bending movement only when you push it towards the magnetic clutch.

This place is a joke.
Before you all jump on the bashing bandwagon, look at his other post with the 2mm+ gap.

Who knows if it's even pushed on all the way. MY SC pulley is over 1 year old with thousands of miles...no problem....likely because it was installed PROPERLY.

when the bearing goes, the pulley can tweak a bit and not be linear in rotation - my guess it that you need a new bearing, pretty cheap solution...
if one of the springs is broken, talk to the vendor

If the pulley is new then the bearing shouldn't go bad either.
From multiple threads I've seen the general consensus was that the gap need to be anywhere
between .35-.45 mm.
Over and under could cause problems.
After multiple failures the second gen S/C pulley has different springs and all.
That's what I've read.
