Tuned E55 vs Tuned C63 Predictions

Upcoming race between my '04 E55 vs akmatic63's C63. Both have Eurocharged tunes. Both have sec cat delete with x pipe in place of it, and resonator deleted. Both have K&N filters. My car has muffler deletes as well, so it is basically straight piped from the primaries back other than the x pipe. He recently installed ROW air boxes into the C63.

Stock vs Stock the E55 generally wins. We're doing a 20 roll and a 60 roll. His car should be putting around 430whp and mine should be putting around 460whp. My torque should be around 500wtq and his is around 400wtq.

What are you predictions???

I say you win.. Based on what just happened to me against a C63 I ABSOLUTELY DESTOYED HIM.. Don't know if he was modded or not but had an ACG license plate frame like mine so I have to assume he had something.. He took off on an onramp like a bat out of hell I caught him at around 70 and pulled 10 lenghts to about 135 or so.. Wasn't even a race, total destruction... Good luck..

That's crazy lol. We've raced once before, I pulled ahead by a half a car length. He was tuned with sec cat, x pipe, and res delete and I was stock. But he spun tires for a good 2,3 seconds...so time for the rematch

u know what... don't under estimate a tuned c63 ... they not slow... you will be surprise how close it will be. good luck

Definitely not, I drove his car yesterday and to be honest, I am not sure which car is faster That double clutch is no joke....

EDIT:

I'm running Michelin Pilot Super Sports, about 30% tread left, his tires are bald. From a dig, both with good tires, we all know an E55 is unstoppable....

I still don't consider that an actual race, just messing around lol- I was in sport mode with traction off. if I was really *racing* I would have been in manual with sport traction. Plus my tires were/are bald

Our real race is going to have to wait till i find time to get the tires done- actually am going with the michelin pss most likely with stock spec as my car is dropped and will probably rub with 275s!

We are talking a lot about weight and power ratio whp and tq, but either way expecting a close race!

Almost similar weight. If they are both in the low 4000lb region, I have the power advantage, you have the double clutch advantage.

Cant wait to get it done, we've been arguing back an forth between weight and whp and wtq and shifting traction all the variables but just gotta get it done! I wanna get both cars weighed on a scale, just to make the arguments more interesting

I already have MBH LT headers on the way, going to have that with a catless mid pipe,but going to be keeping the stock mufflers. That would call for a second race! Opinions on that?

Have to see this race first, depends how far I pull away. If 1 car length, with headers it might be even. Anything more and I still win.

40mph roll is a lot better and 60mph roll are great.

last week i had a 60 roll vs a ECU tuned c63, i think the c63 owner still didnt got he's car back from the respray he had to do to his bonnet from all the stone chips he got from my car......

at around 130 mph you could park a Boeing 747 between us and still have enough room to park the passenger bus

I raced a p31 c63, which has a factory lsd. 1st race was close, but thereafter c63 fares much better, due to the e55 intake temps being too high. Need better cooling to do consecutive runs.

He won't have headers either. We're both similarly modded except I have a muffler delete and he has ROW air boxes.
