We are running our Spring FSP Pulley and Tune Special for $599.00 We do recommend our split cooling kit if you have not already done so for this performance upgrade which runs an additional $115. Gains to be expected are around 70-80rwhp and similar tq, let me know if you have any questions fellas.

Can you please comment on this thread?

Will your off the shelf tune that comes with this package be problem free? What size pulleys are you offering?

1. Can you (and have you) also adjust the bypass flap mappings like a competitor can do? I ask this because in the latest version of a competitors canned FSP tune, the user say there is a tremendous improvement in driveability and lower IATs over previous known FSP tunes. Quote:

2. Is the so called "2000RPM Glitch" solved in your tune aswell?

3. Hiccup-mode and "cold-start issue" free?

4. No Resistor needed in clutch connector?

5. Safety features? Timing retard/fuel dumping/whatever at extremely high IATs? (when stock SC clutch would disengange)
6. Safety features 2: If Point 4 == true, is it a tuned backup map or something in the line and if so, what will happen if a sensor fails or reads non plausible values and the stock ECU would switch to another backup map? Can this tune still do it?
7. Is the idle rattle gone?
After a competitors assumption, it might be solved with a bit more closed bypass flap at idle RPM. For this i suppose Point1 must be "true" aswell. Thanks for all your answers to my questions. I believe they are for the good of all potential customers and FSP concept lovers like myself.
I would really love to buy it but it must work for daily driving for me. Thanks
I am the customer that Craig mentioned here

First off, I'd just like to give a big thumbs up to Craig, Jason, and Tony. They're a great group of guys that really know their stuff, and made everything a very pleasant experience!
After reading numerous great things about Buckhead Imports, I decided that I wanted to take my E55 the next time I went up to Atlanta and get some work done. Once I knew I was going, I got in touch with Craig to see if they could get me in on a fairly short notice. They were able to schedule me in, and off I went from Miami to Atlanta with the E55.

My E55 is a 2004, and was pretty much stock. All it had when I drove up was K&N filters, X-Pipe, secondary cat delete, and resonator delete.
Before doing anything, they first gave the car a look over, and dyno'd it to get a baseline. The car got 370 rwhp and right around 450 rwtq.
Then they went to work. The following is what they did to my E55:
FSP 74 mm
Split Cooling
Heat Exchanger
Custom dyno tune
After installing all that, they then started fine tuning. The final numbers were 448 rwhp and right around 575 rwtq.
That's gains of 78 rwhp and 125 rwtq
Keep in mind Buckhead Imports uses a Dyno Dynamics dyno, which is known to read lower HP than dynojets. I will let you be the judge of how much lower it reads, as that's not something I'm concerned with. My only concern is the before and after numbers on the same dyno, and in the same conditions.
With that being said, I am very happy with the gains that I saw on the dyno!!! I will try to take it to the track in the next 2-3 weeks and see how it performs there

As soon as I got in the car, I could immediately tell that there was a lot more power

I can't compare the FSP or their tune to anything else, as I was practically stock before, but I can say the following:
The torque feels instant!! Just a light touch of the gas pedal, and off you go. Before, I could push the gas pedal with a decent amount of pressure and accelerate at a solid rate. Now that is no longer the case. If I want to accelerate slowly, I really have to be very light with the pedal

The extra power is something that I still have to get used to. The car just pulls and pulls with no letting down in sight! Overall, it feels very solid, very smooth, and very powerful. I'm not saying that the E55 wasn't a fun car before, but it is so much more fun right now
As soon as Tony and Jason finished my car, I jumped in and drove straight back to Miami. When I tried to pass people on the highway, I had to pay attention not to step on the pedal too hard

The trip home (just under 700 miles) went very smooth. No issues, everything felt great. It was a pleasure to drive!
I haven't had too much of a chance to drive the car around town, since I just got back last night. However, I did drive the car around town briefly this afternoon, and it felt good from the very start. Felt just as good around town as it felt on the highway yesterday.
For anyone that cares, when I put the car on cruise at 74 mph, I averaged 21.8 mpg for a very long stretch. The mpg's aren't a concern to me on this car, but it was nice to be able to cover a decent distance between fill ups.
Again, many thanks to Craig, Jason, and Tony!!! They even came in very early on Saturday (normally closed on Saturdays) to finish off my car!!
So when someone makes 500RWHP on their dyno, its like 550RWHP on other dynos i assume.
I have a question to you all: I often read that without a TCU tune, the Torque reaching gearbox/wheels will be limited on our cars, there is a torque management in the TCU, is that true or not?
At exactly 0:04 to 0:09 you can hear that "rattle". And again between 0:16 and 0:24 even louder.
