Trunk tank install is beginning!
I finally received the reset of my hardware for the kit. I was not too impressed with the fittings, and line that came with the kit. So, I bought 50' of -12 black nylon braided line, and all of the fittings to make it happen. I will be using bulkhead fittings to get the feed/return lines in/out of the trunk area. I will update this as I make more progress.

I thought that I was going to run the lines out of the front of the trunk, but I decided that going out of the back was the best option. Trying to connect to the bulkhead fittings with hose ends would be a real nightmare going out of the front.
The tank is mounted, and the bulkhead fittings are in place. Hopefully I will have time this week to run some line. I will be running the 90 degree fittings outside of the rear of the trunk. With the -12 line being able to handle a 4.5" 90 degree bend radius I will not require additional fittings!
Here is the tank in its mounted position, and the bulkhead fittings as well.
Here is the branding of my trunk tank!

had mine for over 2 years and the only problem is the rule 2000 pump always dies every few months. what are other doing about this ? the rule 2000 is a blige pump not meant to be ran constantly. it is super strong flowing though while it lasts.

I've had my rule for about 3yrs and no issue yet but even if it does die the Mezeire is strong enough to run the whole system

Hammer, I am in the process of adding a tank as well. I have a rule 2000 to install and thought of ditching the 5 yr old CM-30, or should I replace it with a Mezeire136?. Eventhough the flow rates are way different, does the Mezeire take some of the load off of the Rule and allow it to last longer?
Are two pumps necessary??? It seems kinda common.
Do you have your stock pump in place or only the rule in tank?

Two pumps = maximum flow and two pumps will also act as a fail safe. I have run the Mezeire by itself and I have run the Rule by itself so as I stated before if one happens to stop working you will be ok. Exotic-Metal (Brooke) came up with this setup like 5yrs ago while running a standing mile event and it's been the ticket every since. The only thing really to decide is how big of a tank you want to run. Standard as pictured above or have a 5 gallon tank made.
I ran a Mezeire up front (w/EC HE) and Rule2000 in tank (3.5gal) and a Cobra HE mounted under the trunk that held 1.2gal.
The Mezeire took a dump on me while I was at MIR and the Rule2000 maintained flow. I ran a best ET of 10.7 that day.
