Another wheel ***** moment of mine.

My 4th set of wheels on this car. Each time just gets more aggressive and aggressive.

19 x 8.5
19 x 10

Offsets... I provided the builder with an aggressive range that I'd like to stay within, and they surprised me. Undisclosed. They didn't go "too aggressive". They preferred to start where they did and I can always order a larger outer lip anytime in the future. Resulting in a much lower offset.

- Textured Black
- Chrome Step-Lip
- Hidden Valve Stem
- Matte Black Inner Barrel

Fitment is perfect "for now". I haven't had the chance to lower the car more. Whenever I have time, I'll probably lower my links another half an inch all around. Slightly lower than this...

OLD SETUP Forgestar F14's

Maybe before the end of the year, I might add another inch on the rear outer lips. The only downfall to that is... I'll have to stretch the tires a lot more. As in... 245/30/19. Not really sure if I wanna do so only cause of how much power our cars put out.

Right now the tires are somewhat meaty. For those of you who know my previous W208, I've stretched both front and rear pretty hard. I probably went through more tires than I did underwear. The fronts were an inch past the fenders, and the rears were almost two inches past the fenders. On top of that, it sat lower than most.

Lastly, thank you to my guys at BENZWORKS. They've been the only non-MB dealer that's touched my car. These guys have been taking care of my Benzes for 8 years now. They know how to take care of all their customers. Just to clarify, they're not the ones who built the wheels. They took care of the tires, custom valve stems, OEM TPMS, mounted and balanced. They know me pretty well, so I just gave them the green-light to make the decisions for me (tire fitment, stance, etc.). Always on point.

Here are some quick pics I took today on my phone. Forgot to lower the car before taking the pic. It was still on raised mode. When its lowered, the wheels stick out a lot more.

I'll post more detailed pics sometime. I plan to do a photo-shoot with a few of the fellow W211 members soon.

+1 on getting rid of the Forgestars! You have the car looking Micky Mouse now - only thing I would do is paint those rear vision updates with deep black gloss then she would be perfect.

So you won't tell us who the wheel manufacturer is or tire sizes? Looks like CCW to me?

Rear vision updates? Not quite sure what you meant. Sorry bro. Rear view mirror?

Not just saying this. But the guy / company who did my wheels kindly asked me not to provide his or his company's information. He's currently backed up working on orders for wheel companies. His usual 2 week turn-around time is now 6 weeks. Which I know is still shorter than most companies out there. However, with so many orders being placed by his vendors, it went from 2 weeks, to 6 weeks, and heading towards 8 weeks. He mentioned that he already told vendors that the company is going to close in June and re-open in November or December with much higher manufacturing prices.

I don't understand. Is he closing his doors or just not accepting new orders for 5-6 months?

Don't even think about three piece wheels Jason. You'll be crying about bent wheels every week.

I had the 18" F14 forgestars wheels on my car, and they are the most robust wheels I had to date. My stockers, 20" Donz, and 19" BBS LM all suffered bents but not the forgestars.

Oh, love the way those CCW Classic look. But the step lip make them look small on the big car like E55

That's what I keep hearing, David. I think I'm just going to buy a cheap set of Verde Axis wheels and call it a day. If I wreck one, (and with the roads around the bus it is inevitable), I can buy a new one for nearly the cost to have it repaired. Though I might 'splurge' a little and get some Forgestars, most I know personally haven't had issues with them when using a tire with a profile greater than that of a rubber band.

I just thought it was funny how these offsets are such a secret.

Based on how he explained his situation. I would like to safely assume that he's temporarily closing (actually shutting down his warehouse and business will be non-existent for a short period). Perhaps he's going to trying to expand his warehouse and/or increase staff. I was really surprised that he was able to manufacture the amount that he does with such a small staff.

Thank you.
Yeah, I'm with you on the face looking small. I'm not a fan of 20's. Kinda' why I decided to stick with 19's. My HRE's were 20's and looked good, but with these, i'm able to go as aggressive as I want while still being low And then some.

Thanks T. It'll get lower soon.
Help me gather the group for the photo-shoot.
