And yes please share how you prepped and if there were any issues.
Also if it "exacerbated the misalignment" that would be because it is cleaner - so being cleaner surely cant be a bad thing...?

In order to remove the door trim you have to remove the door panels
The trim that runs across the dash board pops out as well as the ash tray and gear shift trim.
Once the ash tray is removed you'll see two screws holding the cd changer in place. Once you remove those screws, then you can slide the cd changer out as well as disconnecting the wires behind it. I used pelicanparts.com and it showed me step by step how to remove everything

Haha Sam you've never been one to pull punches. Lucky the op asked to "please take it easy on me." otherwise I'd hate to think how much you would have ripped into him.

I guess I like to give my opinion bluntly because I usually appreciate blunt opinions too, it's more sincere that way Seriously though, that trim is more misaligned that normal, it's really off, not sure how that happens, it shouldn't move or anything. Maybe the door card is installed incorrectly.
