Surprise I got... and some advise needed

Hey guys... so "funny" thing happend... my neighbor txt me and tells me that I should check my driveway... as he thinks there is big bolt lying there...

Well low and behold.. this is lying on the ground..

to say this what got into my mind...

Went to check my engine bay... and lookie there... bolt form SC pulley missing
https://i.imgur.com/1wmhMoB.jpg

So for the advise... is it as simple as just screwing it in again and torque it to the right specs... or how f am I???

And yes I did drive on this for like 8 miles, but no hard runs.... I did not know I was missing it.

Hope you guys can advise

you got lucky.

you will need the big washer also since that is missing too.

source both parts from a salvage car since the dealer will only sell them with the SC pulley.

Only crank is torque to spec.

Supercharger bolt will work fine until it falls off apparently...

You can use the best of multiple times
We tighten it with a impact wrench set to 130psi and use Teflon tape on the threads

I hope you can answer another question. When torque the bolt down, how do you ensure that the Supercharger is not just spinning... how do you keep it from spinning?

that is one the benefits about using an impact wrench, you can just hold the magnet in place with your hand.

Hey

That is also what I thought.... but it simply did not work... kept sliding...

So figured out a simple fix... bicycle rubber hose... perfect for it.. will NOT slip at all and then it was a breeze to do.
