What's up guys?
It's been about 7 months since I logged into MBWorld to take a look around....
I sold my E55 back in March, and didn't really feel like spending much time here afterwards watching everyone else having all the fun!
Anyway, I've got a few leftover items collecting dust if anyone is interested.
Full Set of genuine AMG split-spoke wheels with winter tires installed. One of the front wheels was professionally welded to repair a crack on the inside of the barrel. Otherwise the set is in great shape... I had two sets of wheels and used these for winter driving.
I also have a pair of the ACG Euro Impact strips ("040" Black) to get rid of the side marker "egg yolks". They are brand new, never installed and still in the package.
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm sure it would take HOURS to get caught up on all the news around here.... maybe someone can post up the "Cliff Notes" version???

LOL!
Well bummer about RBJ.... hope everyone was unhurt?
No new 1/4 mile records? No new innovative products?

I'm back to rockin' the LC for my daily.... it's no speed freak, but it IS awfully nice to just turn the key and go without worrying about constant maintenance / repair issues. It's weird to brag about getting 15MPG now... like it's a good thing, but that's about 50% better than I ever got driving the E55.....

Prices would help
You really didn't miss much. The new wave of E55 buyers are unfortunately steering away from what they once were.

Not looking to make a killing on the old stuff.... I'll make good deals for anyone that is interested.
I'll be happy to ship the Euro Impact strips because they are light (and I still have the factory packaging), but the wheels/tires should realistically go to someone local (NH/MA/VT/CT)....

You obviously have an idea of what they're worth to you... Originally Posted by GregMB

I'm interested in the wheels and I have a friend or two in CT.

For a local buyer with cash in hand, I'd let the entire set of wheels/tires go for $400... that saves me time and aggravation of splitting them up and/or dealing with shipping.
If people want to buy individual wheels I'd probably be asking more like $150 ea.
Impact strips.... I think they were around $200 new (which they still are, since they are still in the original box!), but I'd do $100 plus the ride.
Is that fair enough?
