Where are those AMG badges?
I have done a search on this, but can't really find what I am looking for. Some of the old post have broken links. Question is: Can someone give me a scource website to order an AMG flat hood badge. Not the MB one. The AMG one. Some guys have replaced the star with them on this board. I want to order before the car comes in. Thanks.

I have one of the AMG Hood badges as well, got it 3 months ago and love it. Very high quality construction and it fits perfectly. I bought it from someone that posted on this board but has since been banned ( i think ) so I won't post his contact info. If you want PM me and I'll give you info on how to get it.

If it's the enameled one that t-bone pictures, I am very interested. This one was on ebay about 7 weeks ago - I lost it by $2.50
and would like to get one.

I also have the one t-bone has and it looks amazing...
I got it by emailing amgbadge@yahoo.com. They do not sell them on ebay only direct. The quality is perfect. I first got one of the ebay $40.00 badges and it was plastic coated junk. I just spent $88k on my E55 so another $150.00 for this badge was worth it.

t-bone I have the same one as you I also have the ebay one...
and the badge is very low quality with a plastic dome attached to a metal mounting plate. Our badge is a true die stamped solid brass badge that they then chromed and colorfilled. As always you get what you pay for.

Themis - Do a PayPal for $150 to amgbadge@yahoo.com (includes shipping) - just did mine and received it yesterday.
It looks like the (cheap, resin dome) ebay version only it's enamed solid brass (plated/enameled) - a totally different quality than the ebay one.

I am not driving either yet. 2005 E55 is on order. My sister is actually going to school down in that area. In any case, I am going ahead and compiling my mods so that they are ready to go on right after delivery. This amg badge....either the Lorinser or Renntech spoiler, followed by some suspension drop, and then finally this time next year HRE's will go on it. As it is, I am already askign that the car be tinted before I take delivery.
