My McLaren 570S - 10.275 @ 135.21

Hey everyone. Still get the bug to hit the strip. 911 Turbo is gone. Replaced with a 16 Z07, which is gone. Now I have a new McLaren 570S.

Went to Atco for a rental on 4/20, and was amazed that I ran a 10.275 @ 135.21 on a 1.672 60' time. Also ran a 10.422 @ 135.4 with a 1.789 60' time. Ran some 10.5s, 10.6s and a few 10.7s. As I figured out how to do a burnout (after lunch), my 60's went from 1.95 - 2.0 down to 1.7-1.8.

Car is stock. Just dropped the PSI to 29 in the rear and threw in $20 of 103 octane at the track.

Here is a vid of my 10.511 @ 135.25 run.

I know that the old crew will appreciate this.

Two Torque Monsters...E55/Viper
Nice. A buddy just picked one up and I've yet to check it out but love the look maybe perhaps minus the small opening I hear to expose any of the engine.

McLaren's have always been fast no question.

What tires do you have? I've seen the older 12C hit 10.5'ish just by switching to semi-slick summer tires.

I liked it. It sounded great and could snap your neck with just a bit of throttle.

Chevy did a great job with that car at that price point.

Awesome car and awesome times. Congrats on the purchase. Assuming the car gets a look "here and there"...

What about a soul? Did it have a soul like a German car, or an English car?

It had the soul of a 17 year old boy looking for a fight.

Gets lots of looks. Especially from wide-eyed kids looking out the rear windows of their parents' car. Drivers reach out with their cameras to take pictures. While driving.
