Exclamation E55 AMG Bad Exhaust sound

I installed a set of EC Eurocharged short headers on my 05 E55 AMG.
These headers look almost identical to Kleemans.
As usual the Primary cats were deleted. I was expecting a throaty exhaust note (V8 rumble). Instead what I ended up is a Sizzle sound (sssszzzzhhh).
Please See the video.
My first inclination after the install was maybe its an exhaust leak. But there was none to be seen. I have put approx 1500 miles since the header install. I have also taken it to 3 different trusted indy shops. They all tell me the same thing (The install looks good, there are no leaks, the sound is coming from within the exhaust mainifold header section). I'm told that since the new header has thinner walls, its the valve train that is more audible. This seems like the only plausible explanation for now.
Has anyone else heard this sound from headers? Have you been able to resolve it ? or Is this the sound that I should continue to expect ?
If I revert back to the stock Header minus the CAT how much off a loss in terms of HP and Torque are we talking about ?

Thanks for your time

that's weird ... if you want louder must take out res. and stock muffler is super quiet too

did the headers make any performance difference ? -- i am guessing that sound was there before the header install

The sound was the stock, muted one before the headers. The high frequency sound is only apparent now after the header install.
As rightly mentioned in other Posts/Threads Removal of the resonator could result in Drone, so I have not gone down that path.
But coming back to the current sound, I'm sure that many others have the same setup in place. I've seen a number of videos with EC and KLeeman header, but none seems to have the issue except for this one other thread that had a similar issue but no fix.

This is normal for tubular headers. It's more apparent on the E55 because the mufflers are quiet and eliminate most of the sound coming from the rear. It's hard to capture on video unless you have an armco barrier or similar, to bounce it off. Best thing to do is not worry and just enjoy the power gains.

I had the same kind of sound on my old Mustang with headers and no cats. It's normal.

Although I cant really hear it in your video I suspect its the same sound my decatted car makes. And I to dont like it. It just sounds bloody weird.

I suspect theres some sort of resonance going on in the exhaust now and im not even sure its noticeable by passers by its just from inside the car with windows cracked its really noticeable.

Iv learnt to get used to it. Im interested to see though if the headers im building change how it sounds or make it even louder.

The headers help magnify the "engine sounds". Those are the sounds that the internals make. My car sounds like it's cooking a thousand pieces of bacon if I put it under heavy load in 5th gear and low speed.

The stock manifolds are too small and insulated so they don't resonate internal engine sound.
