Longtube Headers and X pipe $900 shipped in the USA

Group buy for a set of longtube headers with X pipe.
Manufactured by Project B5.
He has about 15 sets in stock
Price is $900 USD shipped

FITS:
2003-2006 E55 AMG
2004-2006 CLS55 AMG

-321 stainless steel, tig welded construction
-Individual 1.95" Runners that form a uniform 4>1 3" tube merge collector thats been hand ported.
-Stainless steel flex sections to eliminate any stress or cracking issues.
*Our headers are the only units to market that feature a high quality braided flex section to absorb movement. It's a common issue with stock exhaust to crack apart the catalytic converter ends or break studs due to lack of flex in the system.
-Includes the longtubes, mid-flex-section, xpipe, & clamps/install hardware.

*You will need to turn off your secondary o2 sensors via. STAR diagnostic or have your ECU tuner code them out of your tune to eliminate a check engine light. Other customers have reported success with o2 spacers and foolers.

They look really nice and so does the price.

Hows the fit? Have you installed any or seen anyone running them who might have made comments about the fit?

Hello Shardul,

I am new to the forum, my name is Ron Schmillen in Lewisville, Tx.
These headers look awesome, high grade material and excellent welds in the pictures and mostly the correct pricing. I have been searching these for going on three years.
I am interested, however I have a question:
Can my car pass Texas OBDII inspection with these cat delete headers installed? I have Eurocharged lifetime tune can Jerry code out the O2 secondaries and will this pass and keep faults off? Also I don't know about visual the inspectors around here are always looking under my hood. Over the years I've worked hard getting rid of the faults the car had when I bought it and don't want to add any failing faults, my daily driver kick *** car has to pass.

You definitely will not pass smog, even if you have primary and secondary cats. You may luck out, but if they are paying attention they will see long tube headers hanging down below your car. So be sure you can pass smog before installing these!

Mine arrived today, debating whether or not to have the headers ceramic coated. Packaging was awesome and welds looks good!

Great price and the quality looks real good. My only concern is that they welded the primaries to the flange completely around the circumference instead of welding the inside. It is common when building headers, especially with a forced induction car due to the heat, to not fully weld the outside of the primary to the flange due to the fact that the flange and primary will expand at a much different rate and there is a good chance that the primary will eventually crack due to this.

Just thinking out loud guys!

Any insight into this Shardul?

Can this be used with stock secondary cats?

This would be in my E55 already if I still had it
