EDIT: I registered but this looks meeega boring. Can't drive our own cars, not even on the autocross course. Highlights include a photographer onsite and an owner mingling session. Flashbacks to Bimmerfest and various Ducati meets

Honestly, I think the cruise down there was more fun than the actual event. We had 6-7 of us that met up last year and drove down together.

It depends on what your expectations are. Last year we had well over 100 AMG's on hand from owners, we introduced the AMG GT R, had Q&A sessions with the AMG team from MBUSA, allowed owners to drive our cars on an autocross course and took owners and their guests around Laguna Seca for taxi rides in our AMG's.
It is not intended to be a track day at all, it is a chance to meet up with other AMG enthusiasts and experience an afternoon around the AMG brand.
