EC tune Idle issue solved
Was running a LTH setup catless, xpipe with stock pulley and one step colder spark plugs. So when I was telling everyone maybe i need a custom tune and not a canned Ec tune they told me how accurate EC tunes were
I was told that maybe its my spark plugs, i was told its a boost leak when i told EC that ur tune may be off or its a wrong file. Tony and anthony at Race IQ gave me a canned tune and well no more idle issues, idle's like a stock e55. Feels real smooth I'm going to measure the idle but when i measured the EC tune was really rocky compared to this, the RPM's would go up and down randomly and then idle consistently. Thanks Race IQ for solving my issue

whoever told you that a custom tune was required has been sipping on that EC juice way to much.
Glad to hear you were able to resolve your issue. did you ask for a refund on the EC tune, or try reverting back to stock tune?

no no I was told by their employee that I didn't need a custom tune to fix the idle issue and I'm like thinking Lmfaoo dude there's a hiccup in the idle haha like I'm not going crazy. So they kept telling me I got a Vaccum leak or I kept getting the whole welcome to m113k Bc they all do this lol. So I sucked it up and now that I'm going fixed pulley tony gave me a map to try on the old setup since I haven't put the pulley in yet. No more issues... like it doesn't take a genius to know that the tuning is off in regards to the EC file I got. And for all the EC guys who had my identical setup go and get a tune from tony and then let me know if u notice a different in the idle.

i have 550 cc injectors and wideband gauge to view my AFR, since there is no clutch i must monitor also the IAT's so i use the dash command with a ob2 WIFI connector so it shows it to me on my phone. This is supposed to be a mild setup and many ppl have already runned this. If u don't want to deal with any of these issues i would recommend u to get a 83mm clutched pulley. anything clutchess will require some knowledge about tuning and AFR's and iats. These cars don't have the best ECU's too so it makes everything tricky but 83mm with headers is a fun time. i will post a vid about my new setup once its installed.my setup should net me 510-530whp or 620-650hp

Upon cold start-up for just a moment the idle is slightly jumpy till it comes to a high idle, then drops to normal when warmed. Who knows if this's dirty TB or tune? Regardless, though the car is fast as stink, I've wondered if something is missing with its tune. I'm very interested in your box tune. Do you provide a re-tune when a 82mm TB and 72mm clutched pulley are placed on? Thank you.
