Belt size for 74mm supercharger pulley

So awaiting installation of a 74mm clutched SCP to replace my 84mm pulley. On the 84mm pulley, I recently upgraded to a Gates K080496HD pulley and so far, no problems. Was a tight fit, but it squeaks less now, and it seems I can hear more whine.

After a bit of searching, it seems people are also using the "496" belt with a 74mm pulley, which is good. But my question is, anyone tried the next pulley down, the "485" belt?

I'm ready to just go ahead and buy one anyway to see if it will fit, but just wanted to check if anyone has any direct experience.

496 = 1274mm
485 = 1249mm

Also, I have no belt wrap kit.

Nice a 74mm clutched, didn't even know that was available, thought the smallest was 77mm... Let us know how it goes. Would love to see the difference from 77 to 74 if it's worth the upgrade.

Yeah not sure if it's worth going from 77mm to 74mm. I didn't even think going 84 to 77mm was worth it, so went 84mm to 74mm!

I had the 84 then went 77 when it became available, was a noticeable difference. To me the 84 is a complete waste.... Anyone doing the SC pulley just go straight for the 77... The 84 only gave me 15rwhp over stock.

Mine ran pretty well with the 84mm tbh. Been on different dynos, but something around 420whp ish. Ran a 11.7-8s at 119mph with 84mm, long tubes, HE, split cooling bay tank and road course tires.

Hoping to get to 11.5 with this setup and a 74mm pulley, then low 11s with drag radials.

Meth and 82mm TB might get lucky and dip into 10s, if the car doesn't break first.
