W211 E63 6.2 Muffler and Resanator delete! WOW
Ok MB world, I have been trying to get this 6.2 to BREATH!!!! I needed more sound, more.... AMG sound that it should have.. so I deleted the mufflers. And it sounded really good.. no drone, not really loud, but you can hear slight pops on decel and I did like it but I wanted MORE!! So I deleted the Resanator also.. and let me tell you, this is what you want. The car feels less restricted, I notice more power down low on 0-10 excels. The 6.2 also sounds like the Bi turbo v8 AMG. Crazy.. but my friend has stock exhaust on his and when he opens the valves for the exhaust they sound very similar minus the turbo spool. I think if you are looking for a louder but no droned out sound then you should delete the res and mufflers. It has a great purr and pop on decel now and also sounds like a c63 you see on most car sites/videos. Stock cats, stock headers. I couldn’t find anything on people deleting both of them so I decided to go ahead and do it and share!! Any questions let me know!!

All 3 are gone. These guys are spending $1500+ on popcorn tunes when if you delete all 3 (leave main cats) then your car will pop AND it won’t be running rich like these tunes require. Therefore I lost about 130lbs in exhaust, and my plugs won’t go to waste! But yes, cats made a big difference.

I currently have a w211 e63 myself. In stock form the car is way to quiet,
therefore i have deleted the resonator near rear mufflers and replaced with a h pipe, the car defitnely felt better, sounded a lot better with nore crack and pops while de aclerating.
has a great sound, but i want the joise not to be any louder but more of a agrresive angry note, like the w204 system or like the newer amg cars, but do you not want to be spend 5k onna exhaust system, as i do love the factory system as there is no drone and is quiet while cruising, anyone javr any suggestions?
i also have had it ecu tuned and got the tcy tune for blips and is amazing.

Poor video and yes it cuts out:/ I’ll attach another tomorrow orf a pull!! Get on about 9:15 Eastern time! Lots of pops, lots of fun!

after deleting sec cats, res and mufflers I recommend. It’s not loud. It’s beefy. Under accel it’s awesome! Under decel it’s awesome! I drove I70 to work 30 min A day and I get no drone. In neutral under revs the car wraps out RPM quick and sounds insane. I highly recommend. I go to school and am never home and i did all the the deleting and bending and welding and only problem is the left header comes to and Oval. So fitting a pipe is hard. Make sure you have a game plan first!! I am a m156 and m113/k nut so don’t hesitate to ask any questions!

can I add mufflers from an 2008 E63 w211 on a 2009 E class 350 (W211) with the resonator already deleted and replaced with an X pipe and get the same sound of an 2008 E63 W211 ? C63 muffler or an e63 muffler?
