Rev matching for W211 E63
are there any other companies offering a rev match tune for the W211 E63 besides Dime?

I read somewhere awhile ago, about one of the tuners offered it, and I think it was Eurocharge, they charged < $1000, and you had to send in your ECU.

I contacted EC about it earlier today and haven't heard back. Will update if they get back to me.
I'd love to have this, but no way am I spending what Dime wants for that tune.
This did come up awhile ago and there was someone out of Australia (IIRC) that was doing a tune with this for around $1500. I'm a bit foggy on the details since it was in an older thread and I may be off on the price. I just remember it was way cheaper than the Dime tune.

Just asking a question here, so no one bite my head off. Keep in mind, I have no plans on doing this. But couldn't you use the ECU from a 08-13 C63, as it had the blip function.
I've owned both of these cars several years ago. Both the E63 and C63 M156 engine are almost identical except for the oil pans, as the C63 has two drain plugs, compared to one on the E63.

they have dealers that can do the tune so you don't have to send in your ECU/TCU. Closest one to me is in Texas so I'll be doing a road trip.

I've been in contact with them and they are aware of the incorrect price on the website. The price is $1,499 and I will be blowing money on something stupid

I'm looking for this tune as well. I wonder if RaceIQ could do it. What were the symptoms of your secondary cat going out? I suspect mine too - might be an exhaust leak though.

At least the cats are only $1300 + $200 for a core charge. That's for the driver's primary and both secondaries since they're all on one pipe.

You ever consider just having an exhaust shop delete the secondaries?

Removing the cats is very, very illegal and most places won't do it. I am planning on removing mine though, but then I need a good pipe with the cats for smog. The car won't pass the visual inspection part of the smog test if it's missing the secondaries.

i have removed the honeycombs out of cats before and replaced the shell back in place on other vehicles , all looks and works fine as long as they are coded out - worst case put an o2 simulator on it

IIRC there are no O2 sensors after the secondary cats. Removing them shouldn't throw any codes. I'd definitely try gutting them prior to cutting them out.
