Belt Slip!
Before going into Hp mods ive ordered a superflow pump and split cooling im gonna just do a 83mm or 80mm pulley nothing crazy. After getting my tune done from EC go for a drive and right before it ahifts or as it shifts i hear belt slip. Doesnt happen always just sometimes. So before getting a pulley what is a decent priced pulley tensioner kit and does it actually save 1-2 psi of boost?. Right when it shifts i hear a squeal.

That's your clutch engaging, they call it a supercharger chirp.
Remove one of your shims, or life with it.
They do sell belt wrap kits (upd, dtk, creative steel, pick one); this is to battle belt slip at really high RPM.
Tbh, just get a green belt and go from there. I think BWK's are a good way to start ruining your pulleys and bearings, but that's just me.

BWK’s ruining bearings is somebody’s poor excuse for cheap bearings or poor installation of bearings. The tensioner is the only thing that applies force on the bearings. As long as the tensioner is in the same spot there will be no added tension on the belt or bearings.

A good way to battle belt slip is always making sure your belt is in good condition - No cracks, wear points or missing ribs. Easiest way is by buying a new belt! Additionally, you can take it a step further by upgrading the pulleys.

when I swap the pulley ill get the belt and call it a day. Just not sure to go to a 83mm clutch or 80mm clutch. If I wasn't so hesitant on pulling the front bumper and going dual H/E and I would then go with 77. Seeing how much of a pain it was for the body shop to put on my e63 bumper on that passenger side put me off a bit.

Im hoping i dont go to that extent and hope just changing to a newer belt will do. Will see hopefully soon enough. It might slip more with a smaller pulley crossing my fingers it doesnt slip with a new belt.
