Been trying to find one that wouldn’t rip me off as well. There’s Mercedes specialized one called burdi in Schiller Park but I wasn’t happy with their quote. You could give them a try but I have been quoted 8hrs for valve seal replacement in my 1990 300e and they insisted that it’ll take them that long. In fact 3-4 hrs is needed so I wasn’t very happy. Anyway I know that they know Mercedes pretty well. You could see what they will tell you.
