Shop recommendations around Chicago??
Need valve cover gaskets, motor mounts and some other little things done.

Any help appreciated.

2009 E63 AMG WAGON 2018 BMW M5 2008 BMW 550i 2006 BMW Z4
Been trying to find one that wouldn’t rip me off as well. There’s Mercedes specialized one called burdi in Schiller Park but I wasn’t happy with their quote. You could give them a try but I have been quoted 8hrs for valve seal replacement in my 1990 300e and they insisted that it’ll take them that long. In fact 3-4 hrs is needed so I wasn’t very happy. Anyway I know that they know Mercedes pretty well. You could see what they will tell you.

Haha yea that was actually the shop that quoted me 7 hours for valve cover gaskets. They quoted me 16 hours for subframe mounts labour only at 135 and hour as well lol.

I have heard people recommend Willow Automotive in the South Loop but haven't gotten a chance to go by for a quote.

Ha Ha!!! Seems like oil change would take 7hrs at $135 per hour as well 🤣
