I haven’t seen this in the forum, but I did a search pretty quickly. Has anybody ever been able to add an AUX connection to their w211 stereo or did you upgrade the unit altogether. If so, recommendations? I looked on Crutchfield and didn’t like the options. Also, has anybody ever done a rear camera install? Afraid when my wife takes the car out, she will back into something. I never was a fan of Satellite radio either, prefer Spotify when possible.
Here's my set up, did this in 2016 with rear camera; cost $900. It is a Pioneer 4200NEX with Apple Car Play but it does have Android connection as well. Spotify App can be use as well. Got a local sound store to install, took them all day.

Has anybody here used Phantom Audio Sound's service? The owner rebuilds factory amplifiers with higher quality components which can allow for clearer sound as well as more Watt's of output. I messaged him on instagram and his response was he does update the HK Logic 7 W211 amp/AGW, but didn't mention what is updated or cost.
