is it me.. or is that car really ugly looking (the CLS in general, not specifically the AMG). Please don't tell me it's replacing the S-class.
I hate it because at one time Mercedes indicated they would build a real 2 door coupe based on the W211 E-Class, that I looked forward too - I feel duped!
I am convinced that if the Oldsmobile Aurora had been sold in Europe the CLS would not look like that. Evidentely, the person that penned that shape has never ever seen the Aurora. I believe a woman was head of the design team - she will take over BMW Design in California.

I'm neutral as of this moment regarding the CLS. It is impressive performance-wise, though.

totally agree - it looks like "hooked-up" aurora
