M113k Ticking Sound Cold Start
Hello, Today when I stated up my 2003 CL55 amg on a cold start it was making a ticking sound, I could rev up a little and the ticking would increase speed. I have my hood insulation removed so the engine is a bit more noisy to begin with. I did an oil change about 200 miles ago 5w-40, I live in Miami so it does not get cold here.
As soon as the cold start process ended the ticking went away and I did not hear it again at any rpm. Any idea what this could be? I drive the car hard but I always let the oil warm up before going to high rpms. If this happens again I will record it not sure why I did not think of doing that this time.

Here is a video without the belt on a cold start no sound at all?? which pulley can it be? I am starting to think its actually the SC pulley because when I look at it straight the center bolt has a slight wobble to it...

This is exactly what I was thinking... I took the belt off again today and I spun all of them with my hand but I do not feel anything out of the ordinary.
I also turned it on with the belt off and no sound at all, once I put the belt back the sound was there again until the car warmed up. Any ideas why it would do that only when cold?
I am gonna get another pulley soon could this fix the problem?

I already said I removed the sc belt and sound went away done we have confirmed its one of those. I spun all of them by hand and none of them feel weird or make any sound.
And what do you think forums are for lol that's the only reason most people make accounts.. just like I ask questions I also answer them in the CL part of the forums.
