Change trans or Conductor Plate?
I have made another post about this before when it first happened. When it first happened I decided to buy a conductor plate from ebay just incase it was the whole trans and it worked fine for a couple months until I did a hard pull and the gear slipped.
I got two codes when the gear slipped that I will attach below, I will also attach a link to my first post and a video I recorded of the inside of the filter, pan, etc. Also I did not see any chunks of metal inside the filter or in the pan mainly just the glitter...
The codes I get are conductor plate codes because I got the same ones on my CL500 and it was the plate but I am not 100% sure on this car...

Video I recorded just now after taking the pan down the 2nd time:
This time I would get everything from FCP euro but IMO I think its the whole trans. Let me know what you guys think!

If it's got over 100k miles, you like and plan on keeping the car, I'd opt for replacement.
I've got an ongoing issue with lockup on mine, it's not adapting correctly, I've had past valve body issues etc etc. I'm planning on finding a used one, tearing down and replacing clutch packs etc, then swapping in. To me that's the 'goldielocks approach' between taking a chance on a used transmission and forking out $$$$ for a new one. Plus one day of down time for the car. Food for thought!
