When are you scheduled to take delivery?

 

I dont have a delivery date yet, but I am guessing thursday or Friday. Saturday at the latest.

 

My E63P is also on a carrier, possibly for delivery and pickup tomorrow. My dealer is under an hour from the VPC so maybe I will be an early delivery but might be last, who knows. Hope it is tomorrow since my vacation starts with my kids and must take precedent over a car.

 

Dealer told me Build date was scheduled to be October 10th. Delivery early November. Congrats on picking yours up Friday.

Where in Florida are you? Who is your dealer?

 

I am in St. Pete, however I buy/order my cars from Asbury stores which for a Benz is MB of Tampa. I am taking delivery Saturday morning.

 

u are very lucky to have one of these, probably the first one in the tampa bay area. I get my oil changed at MB of tampa all the time, would love to see ur beast in person

 

Heck yes! My sales guy is texting me photos the car just rolled off the truck. SICK I got the 5 spoke split amg wheels and they look amazing trying to upload them now

 

u make wanna drive done there and see it right now, only 7 miles away

 

Haha yea my company is in west chase so I'm not far away either. It's in detail I may try to swing by on my way home it's getting tinted in the morning. I'm picking up Saturday

she is beautiful ! Im confused tho, doesnt red brake calibers indicate a performance package thus giving u a carbon fiber engine cover ?

 

red calipers = performance pack yes, this is an S model however the CF engine cover is an option. I didnt get it, as I hate carbon fiber. I dont hate it, its just been way played out

 

I think you'll find red calipers are part of the standard E63S equipment list.

 

Yea I dont plan on sleeping for 2 days!!! I was able to be the first to order in the area hence i got one of the first cars. I did a lot of work for asbury for a long time so I know a lot of people that work for Mercedes. I also knew the night styling pack and the designo cars wouldnt get built first, which is why I didnt go with it. I blacked out some things on my m3 and ended up changing it back because i I didnt like it.

 

oh I gotcha, I love CF ! it can be over done tho I agree. sorry for all the question (I am a extremely hugh AMG fan) do plan to do an ECU tune ?
lastly I would love to see it in person If u ever have free time, love meeting others that share my passion for cars. enjoy and be safe, ppl drive like Sh*t in Tampa.

 

I liked CF till it got overdone, I love benz and I love AMG but putting tons of CF over a beautiful car masks some of its beauty IMO. The CF roof in my M3 was just right, it was an 09 I ordered in 08. Then after that they started offering the splitters, mirror covers, grills, and all the other things made of CF and it just makes it too ricey. My M3 had some nice Dinan mods and Chris at C2 Design around the corner from MBOT is an old friend of mine, so I am sure when the 577 HP isnt enough he will get his hands on it. He is also an AMG master as well as Dinan Certified....

I am down for a meet, seems like the AMG guys are more my speed vs. the M3 "kids". I couldnt deal with some of those weirdos anymore.

Absolutely!! Andrew is the man, so is Cory. Chris has an amazing and very reputable business over there. The work they do is the best quality I have ever seen, expensive but worth every penny. I have an old M3 they maintain for me has a bunch of Dinan mods, plenty of character but its still slow. Ill be in touch and will update all when I actually take physical posession of my E63P! I am going to cruise by there shortly and peek at it. I cannot go on....lol

 

Congrats!!! You must be in cloud nine..... quick question does the EPA charged the gas guzzler tax? I'm doing my finance on Sunday and they don't know yet on the west coast? I'm getting mine on August 26th Euro Delivery
