Cops going crazy bout everything!!!!
Seems like Police is doing everything to make couple $$$. My wife with my 4 month old son gets pulled over in LI today. Cop gives her tickets for tints, no front plate & inadequate stop lamps (sprayed tail lights). It seems like its getting worse and worse. I am thinking about just putting front plates on the car so at least that brings less attention and makes car more ugly!!!

At what age does the child have to be for the officer to be allowed to issue citations since your child being a newborn seems to be an issue with you?

Well then cop has a choice not to give a ticket if he doesn't agree with it!!! And if he sees a small baby that is crying in the back seat like crazy and my wife tells him that shes trying to get home to breast feed him and cop shows that he doesnt care and holds them for half hr so he can write a tickets, that just makes him a biggest d..,,,, If I was driving the car by myself then I wouldnt complain and I know not all the cops are like that but it seems that theres more and more cops looking for easy $$$ even if you live in the area they will still brake ur *****

Quotas are "officially" illegal but it is still there under the table. It's the same reason that red light cameras have been shown by many researches to not improve safety but they are still there to generate revenues. Of course, there is also that research on the Chicago trick on decreasing the yellow light time so more revenue can be generated...I can go on and on forever on this topic.
Well, most cops are good, but a lot of them also don't know the law and the bad ones make up the law as they see fit. And we all know it is not against the law for the cops to lie to you, do we not?

I used Zip ties and tied it low on the mesh grill to make the plate less noticable.
Tints, we'll they'll get you on that one. I understand the logic behind it though, even though i got pinched for it a couple of times and my tints are not dark at all.

Nassau or Suffolk county cops? My wife got nailed for 4 tickets (3 moving violations & 1 non-moving violation) by a Nassau County cop four months back, including a BS one for illegible/dirty rear plate which was easy to see & used the license plate frame as an excuse in his supporting deposition. She was in her scrubs on the way to hospital for work & he still gave her tickets making her late for her shift. Was able to have them all pleaded down to jay walking and just pay the $$$ so no points on her license, which was clean to begin with. Seems they are out to get $$$ for the county and will write multiple tickets if they can. Good luck with your tickets!
