2013 M5 dyno
I've had my M5 since last July but never bothered to dyno it. Today there was a dyno day so I figured why not. I was expecting 520 or so rwhp. It's stock with charcoal delete. Drove it off the road and straight onto the dyno. No cooldown. When someone yelled 560 rwhp I thought they were pulling my leg. I had to go look, but there it was. 511 tq too. Must be a factory freak. Makes sense though as it'll outrun my SL63 and it put down 519 rwhp stock and the M5 is 300lbs heavier.
A tuned C63 put down 411 rwhp and a '12 CLS 63 did 502 rwhp same day today.

Good numbers but there is no such thing as a factory freak. All dynos are different and while I have no doubts the m5 is super strong , no such thing as factory freaks. These cars/engines are all certified , so the hp should be all around each other

No Tune No headers intake NOS...560 WHP
my e63NA make 467Whp with Headers + full exhauste- tune and intake..
same day a C63 made 415 stock with tune...so my added equal +50..

My car made 541 to all 4 wheels and 579 tq to all 4 wheels stock -- dynojet.

Actually 560whp on a Dynojet is very average for the F10 M5. It's well known that these cars are underrated by the factory, and I've actually seen several dyno higher than that in stock trim at local dyno days.

You and I both know this cause we have used the EAS Dynojet a lot... My M5 made great power on a DJ along with my M6, both in stock format. Too bad neither car had any bark to match its bite LOL.
Jim your car is fast but your trap speeds vs the SL at the track is the another/best indicator of power. Didn't your M5 trap around 119 vs the SL at 118? I cant remember....

Yep, that's correct. It would really be something if it wasn't such a fat car. Sadly, they all seem to be headed in that direction.
I thought the typical M5 put down 520-530 on a dynojet. That's why I was shocked by the 560 figure. I almost never visit the BMW forums so maybe I'm mistaken.
