E63s
My car didn't have it either no mounting holes , I just used 3m automotive tape same stuff they use for the rear spoiler,I put it on in the summer, it's still solid , First I test fit it for the perfect spot it actually fits tighter as you move it to the right.I cleaned the back walll of the grill with alcohol and the back of the emblem cut a perfect size piece tape pressed it on the emblem then pushed and pressed it into the grill still solid as a rock

Is this the OEM part from M-B, or a replica? Do you have a link, if it is the real deal? Some places wanted over $100, as Peter mentioned more or less.

Though the zip ties comment, maybe the $14 EBay one is a fake.

I'm sure it's a replica and I promise the zip ties hold it better than tape!

The Ebay part is fake. But he also has the pre-facelift W212, so it probably works better on those models with zip ties. My car didn't come with the front badge, I bought the OEM badge from ECS tuning a while ago and used 3M double sided tape, like OEM fitment. That's the best way to do it.

Like I said, I'm sure it's not OEM but I'm not paying those prices for such a silly part!!!

Here's a quick pic:

I know what you mean! I ordered some V8 kompressor badges once and just laughed when I got them. When I looked about a year ago, there was nothing but OEM or some other small ones that really weren't replicas to the grill badge. So I think these are only a few months out. I was pleasantly surprised with this one

Btw, the eBay seller is racespeeding in case anyone is interested...

E63 AMG S
I have a feb 2014 build E63s and it doesnt have the badge nor the 3 mounting holes..

Just ordered the oem amf badge now.

anyone know how the oem badge is being mounted? Screws with the 3 holes?

My friend drilled his own 3 holes into his plastic black grill frame housing instead of buying a new updated grill frame.
i will be double side taping it on.
