Brand New 2014 E63 Broke Down
Indicator also showed in red "don't shift gear, see dealer". Tried a few times to turn engine off. Restarted engine, same thing happened.
Roadside assistance took the car to a local dealer. Wait for result tomorrow.
I feel your pain, I really do... The dealer will make this right and if not enlist Mbusa in your issue. I wish you the best of luck and hope you get your investment back in 100% working order
And PLEASE come back on and tell is the resolution of your issues... Otherwise this thread becomes useless and can't help future owners out

I didn't find the thread in a quick search. Am I imagining that? Car died. Gave similar warnings, had to be towed to the dealer. Might have been a bad module of some sort.

I finished break in this weekend and did first race start... this car is just insane don't give up on it yet!
My friends sls amg black was in the shop for weeks with a bad trans shift sensor after only 1000 miles ... All dash lights lit up
Also my friends Infiniti g37x needed a new engine under warranty after 10k miles... Stuff happens
Rear diff on my 2013 Viper went bad after only 2,500 miles. Dealer put a new one in under warranty. Wonder how something like this could happen ?
Just an update. Dealer installed new control module, and they can shut shown the car now, but other malfunctions are still there. They had difficulties to shut down the car before, and the tow trucker and I also tried numerous times to shut the car down on the day it was towed to dealer. That's the only progress so far.
Dealer said it will keep in touch with Mercedes and try to solve the problems, but need more days.
It was a brand new E63 and it only lasted a day before breaking down. Anyone else has been in similar situations and what options do I have now? I'll contact Mercedes USA again and request a buy back if the dealer tried it again but cannot fix the problems. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Some will definitely disagree and they think you should go down with this 100k ship, but part of the ownership experience of a $100k car or any priced car for that matter is not having these types of issues from the get go. You deserve a fresh start and the dealer should really advocate for you here too

I wish you nothing but great luck and safe driving in your 'E. Let's hope that all your troubles are now behind you, just a few bad parts, that's all -- now time to start driving and enjoying it.
