I would recommend renntech the only CF intake with dyno proven HP gains on the M156 engine. Carbonio is a nice product as well but the achilis is the MAF location which can be source of leak.
Different price range as well.
Do you have ROW airboxes already?

To be honest, The only difference between Carbon fiber intake vs ROW air box is literally nothing.
I've done dynO for both not even 1-2hp difference.
The carbon fiber does cool a lot quicker than the plastic air boxes which is the only advantage.
you can place your hand on a carbon fiber airbox 10mins after pulling over without it burning your hand while the plastic stock or ROW air boxes will be quite hot still from the engine heat.

Do the 6.3's have heat soak issues like the 55K's?

I did the Carbonio on my M156 R63 for two reasons.

1. It has three CF pieces vs Renntech only does the airbox and not the cosmetic front cover.
2. It's significantly cheaper than the Renntech.

Honestly, no noticeable difference in speed of the car, and I threw in some AFE dry filters as well. I only did it for the look since the rest of my car has CF.

If you're looking for a real gain in noticeable power, I'd save up for something else.

Did you notice and discoloration on your Carbonio? i heard this was a problem before with it turning yellow after a while but i think they rectified that problem

I did research before I purchased mine last year and found the same threads. Based on what I found it looked like the issue's been fixed and if you run into the yellowing problem Carbonio will warranty replace your parts. The issue I've found is my front trim cover doesn't snap on perfectly with the two airboxes (one side wants to lift up). When contacting Carbonio about this issue they sent me a replacement trim piece but the fitment of the second one was not as good as my original one so I sent that one back and left it alone. After having it for a year mine has not yellowed at all but just understand fitment won't be 100%.
