Confirm by Renntech, if you got their ECU tune, you better upgrade your spark plugs. Just order my Renntech spark plugs by NGK. Getting them install as soon as I get them.

Honestly, they did. But was hoping I didn't have to because I forgot to order it at the time of the tune. Some people say they do, some people say they don't. I wasn't concern until recently read about mis fire.

Anyways, that was my opinion when I ordered them.
Good luck on your track race. Can't wait to see you kick butt.

Yeah, saw the slipstream clip. Kick so butt, even your Porsche. Very impressive. Race a brand new M3 and M4 and love the feeling of kicking its butt, especially I had ownd a M3 and M6. Again good luck on your next race.

Plugs I've seen from RennTech are NGK part # SIZKBR8A8HS they are Alpina B7 plugs available from Amazon for $19.59/ea.
I've had them with my AMS tune for 11k miles so far no issues. Put down 590hp/726tq back in cool spring weather and most recently 562hp/685tq in 90* heat last week. Best dyno was 605hp/733tq but I don't have the graph
Press release on the plugs-

Reasons to run a cooler plug-

Really a no brainier to go colder plugs, adding this much hp/tq anyone with knowledge modifying engines would suggest a colder plug. Same as putting a small shot of nitrous on an n/a engine, you could get away with stock plugs but a cooler plug will lessen the chances of issues.

My dealer charged me $200 2 days ago when I had my Renntech spark plugs installed. Now my mind is at ease.

I think to me, the question is: Tuners like Renntech, weistec, not sure about AMS has there own branded spark plugs that is advertised as better/cooler then OEM spark plugs. If these tuners say use OEM plugs, why market aftermarket plugs as their own ?

My point was if tuners put their name on a aftermarket product from the manufacturer, it should mean they endorse the product. Let's say Renntech doesn't recommend spark plugs upgrade after a tune. Why would they endorse the spark plugs and recommend OEM plugs. That was my point. Sorry if I made it sound different.
I only had the Renntech/NGK plugs installed for a couple of days. Don't see or feel any difference, but with the misfire thread I've been reading. I opted to be safe than sorry.

Thank you and no problem. Not sure what you mean by pre grap, but the dealer installed them without any issues. Good luck.
