HELP! Rebellion tune And car ran poor
2014 SAMG 4Matic
I went to the track yesterday and ran my car in the 1/8th because our local track sucks and that's all they have. Best time in race start was 7.67 vs. a hellcat which had slicks and ran a 7.90 but beat me. My car takes long to lauch so hellcat gets the launch every time. Also, car bogged one time off the line and another times(different races) while shifting to 3rd or 4th gear. It pulls great when it doesn't bog. What do you guys recommend. Kinda makes me want to try it in Dyno-mode but that's dangerous. Is there something i can do to help it launch better?
Thanks in advance

Based on an entire day of launches at Atco do not use race start. Rather, put in sport plus and brake torque the car and let the brake go at no more than 2500 RPMs. Got 11.1 at 127.56 with just the Renntech full tune and Renntech sport mufflers

What octane gas are you running ?
Open the cover in the back of the Rebellion and turn the dial to 5 if using 91 oct. I have the dial at 6 1/2 with 94 oct, and ran a 7.3 with Tune only.
In doubt, bypass the Rebellion and run the car on the Stock Tune to see if it still has the bog.

Yes, Rebellion is a Plug&Play piggyback tune wich plugs in between 4 (or 5)engine sensors up to a small control module, that you can install out of sight anywhere in the front of the engine. On the 1/4 mile, my car went from a best of 11.48 stock to 11.19 + 3 mph with this change alone, same day, same track by simply using the bypass plug supplied to go back to stock.

It's the other way around.
I went to the Track with the Tune installed, did 11.19 then put the bypass plug in the module (to go back to stock) and did 11.48
Takes less than a minute to go from Tune to Stock, or vice-versa.

Running fine here also after almost a year of installation. I do not do drag races but took the car on the track last september and did not experience any bogging... except when I almost ran out of gas!
