That's impressive!! Nice runs and nice consistency
Interesting how everyone's experience with race start is a bit different at the track
How do you think you did... What are your thoughts on the times considering your investment in mods

Well I'm a bit disappointed. Thought if see an easy 11.0/11.1(for sure) considering some run that with tune only. But I had a bit much gas in the tank for that. And I'm convinced my 100 octane station had **** fuel.Originally Posted by PeterUbers

You had ideal elevation and temps are ok... The weight of the gas shouldn't have given you 0.3
I have seen a guy with a rebellion piggyback tune ran 11.25 and he ran 11.5 stock both runs on pump gas
Every car is different in how it launches

Next time I plan to be on fumes and 93 only or straight 100. No mixing octanes. What's ideal tire pressures. I'm running 46 front, 51 rear. Is brake boosting a launch better than race start?Originally Posted by PeterUbers

Maybe drop to 41 psi all around (cold)
Your launch is single handedly going to be the key to getting to 11.0-11.1

I shall try. I couldn't catch traction in first. That killed the 60'. Will try the 41 all around. Originally Posted by PeterUbers

Good consistent runs. Trap speeds leave a lot to be desired.
Looks like the second Weistec E63 with traps in the mid 120s mph

Is it my eyes playing tricks with me or are the video of your runs, you started late? If so I think you would have more impressive numbers than what you got?
Question. Which website tune did you go with ?

Clock doesn't start until you move off the line so the late start has no effect on et's.Originally Posted by Davidkuo0330

I made a mistake. Track elevation was +515ft. Not 102ft I said earlier in the first post. That's why my times were hurting a little. I'll retry at Atco within the next two months when we get a track rental.
I heard these cars like hot lapping. And to launch and get a 1.6 60' you turn traction fully off and brake boost 2.5k for the launch

Oh you didn't have traction totally off with brake boosting? Originally Posted by rs4 tony

your DA was 836 ft for that day and weather, not great but also not a DA that is going to totally kill your times.(see calculator results below).. I think not turning traction control off would be more the issue with your times, but i still would of expected a little more mph on your runs given your modsOriginally Posted by rs4 tony

DA calcuator :
Correct your ET and MPH using the DA (Beta Testing)
Density Altitude: 836feet above sea level
1/4 mile ET: 11.284 seconds
1/4 mile trap speed:125.10 MPH
DA adjusted results:
Stock and Mildly Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
11.195 @ 126.076 MPH
Extensively Modified Naturally Aspirated Engines
11.268 @ 125.45 MPH
Extensively Modified Supercharged and Turbocharged Engines
11.271 @ 125.252 MPH

1.80 - 60 ft is decent, but should be better considering 4wd and all that power. That trans really does hold the car back off the line. Were you on winter tires?

125mph is not that great when the average should be 127-129mph. Maybe traction control killed it for you
