19" HRE P43SC + Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. I actually just listed them for sale here. They are W212 E63S spec. Figured Id also show a few recent shot of them on the car one last time!

What offsets are these? Is this lowered or stock suspension?

Yes but you would have to run a 275 tire. A round shoulder 285 ‘might’ work.

Could use some thoughts on whether this setup works. I'll be lowering on KW HAS soon.

Front
255/30/20
20x9 et 25

Rear
275/30/20
20x10 et45

I'm thinking of lowering by an inch, but willing to do less if required. Not looking to rub, but I'm wondering if 285/30/20 will work in the rear.

If anyone has this setup I would love to see some pictures.

You'll be fine on the rear. I'm 20x10 ET45 and run 295/25R20 without rubbing. I think you may have some trouble up front though. I'm 20x9 ET38 with 265/30R20 and am fine fully lowered. However, I tried it with a 5mm spacer (making it ET33) and would rub on compression. Here's a crappy iphone picture of my setup.

Hello All,

Looking for some wheel advice, I see the W212 forum gets a lot more action than the w218.

I don't know much about wheels (never bought a different set before...always stuck with the same rims the car came with) but I found a good deal on some rims for my 2015 CLS63.
I've always wanted the black OEM 9 Y Spoke wheels. (I have the gray 10 spoke)

I found an OEM set off of an AMG GT

Would these fit without any issues?
Fronts: 19x9 ET61
Rears: 20x11 ET68

My stock rims are:
Fronts: 19x9 ET37
Rears: 19x10 ET47

I did a bit of reading and I think I would need longer lugnuts, would I also need spacers all around? I would also need 305 or 315 tires for the rear. any potential issues anyone can see?
Planning to keep my original wheels as a winter setup.

Thanks in advance

Sticking with a 255/30/19 you'd be able to run the F wheel w/ a 25mm spacer. Definitely longer wheel studs.
A 25mm spacer at the back, that'll leave you with a +43 offset. With a 305/25/20 you'd be 15.1mm closer to the suspension and poke out 23.1mm.
I do know the W218 can fit a slightly more aggressive set up that the W212. I also do recall seeing a pic of a white CLS63 sporting 315's at the rear.
It should work, but, I personally wouldn't wanna run 25mm spacers.

Hi @Rehabguy

Thanks for the response!
Does Poke out mean the wheel will hang out 23.1mm outside of the fender?
Lets say instead of a 25mm spacer I go with a 15mm or 20 mm spacer; would there be enough wiggle room where I don't rub the suspension?
Any reason why you wouldn't run a 25mm spacer, could it cause any issues in drivability?

Problem is I am buying them off some guy whos gonna send them to me via a friend of a friend who drives back n forth 4.5hrs from where the wheels are located. So I would be stuck with them if they didn't work out.

Thanks again!

NP.
By poke out I meant the wheel will "shift" or "stick out" twd the fender.
For the front, I have seen members post set ups where the ET was slightly higher than stock (ie, a +40 but don't quote me on this, said offset might have been on a 8.5" wide wheel) With an offset of +35 at the front it is already pretty close to the strut.
A 11" wide wheel and a 305-315 tire will really be maxing out the room available even for a CLS. I seriously do not THINK you have 10-5mm to play with on either end (fender or suspension).
The reason why I said that I wouldn't run such a large spacer is somewhat debated. There are people who say that spacers will harm/shorten the life of wheel bearings. Also, spacers may some times cause vibrations. Maybe they'd also add unsprung weight?
How good a deal are these wheels? The good thing about high offset is that you can always throw wheel spacers at the wheels to make them fit. However, I dunno if it'd be such a great idea to throw ginormous spacers on your AMG.

Seems like the W218 is way more capable wheel size wise than the w212.
Pls go over this thread posted over at the w218 amg forum: https://mbworld.org/forums/w218/4688...p-club-20.html
GL w/ the wheels.

Any issues with that set up? I'm looking at a slightly less aggressive set of 19's and am very curious. Thanks!

None at all. Full lock and major hwy bridge dips at speed see no rubbing. I wanted the most concave look without rubbing.

I'm stock suspension, fyi
