Question for the hive mind: I'd like to run satin black Forgestar CF5V's on my matte white '14 e63s.
I'm thinking 19x9.5 +35 up front, but I'm unsure of what to do for the rears since they dont make a 10.5" wide wheel, only 10" or 11". Is it even possible to run a 11" wide in the rear?

Thank you!
14 e63s. My Forgestar f14 are 19x9 38 and 19x10 46. I'm running stock size tires and lowered on h&r/links. The front driver fender barely rubs where it bolts to the bumper. The rear has very little room. YMMV

Thanks for the feedback!
I was hoping to run the deep concave 9.5's for the visual appeal, but maybe the 9" semi concave would be a smarter choice...

This pic I'm lowered with H&R springs up front and links in the rear. But now its back at factory height which I prefer since the ride quality is much better.
Sharp!

I'm looking at a set of C63 rims for my 2015 S212, 19x9 ET25 front/19x10.5 ET57 in the rear. I'm not terribly concerned about rubbing in the rear with those, even with a 4mm spacer. However, of all the setups shown here, yours is about the closest to the spec of those C63 rims, and I have to ask:

Now that you're back to stock height, do you have any rubbing up front?

19" 255 tire on front with KW H.A.S.

For new rims I'm debating 9.5" or 9" for fronts
And, ET30 or ET35

Anyone have pics of 9.5" ET30? I saw a few 9" ET30 but no 9.5" ET30

Anyone have advice on 20x9 ET 35 and 20x10.5 ET 50 in terms of tires for an e63 S. My car has 325/25/20 on the rear and 265/30/20 on the fronts. The car is lowered and the rear rubs, so I want to swap tires. It looks like I can probably go with 305/25/20 on the rear and 255/30 or 265/30 on the front. I would like to run a 305/30/20 on the rear and a 265/35/20 on the front, but that may just be too tall. Any one have thoughts on the best option? A 295 on a 10.5 wheel seems like it may be too stretched.

I know someone that ran similar specs 20x9 35et with 255/30/20 tires and 20x10.5 50et with 305/25/20 tire size and he was lowered as well.

Good information on this thread. I was struggling with finding the right tire sizes and this was helpful information.

Bumping this thread since there's been a few wheel/tire fitment inquiries.

Winter mode OE Twin 5 Spokes 255/35/19F and 275/35/19R. Front ET34 (3mm spacers) and Rear ET42 (10mm spacers)

Summer Mode. Front: 19x9.5 ET32 (3mm spacers) w/ 255/35/19. Rear: 19x10.5 ET49 (3mm spacers) w/ 305/30/19

Does anyone know, if the parameters that Rehabguy posted, will work for a non AMG W212? Specifically an e350?

I would go with an offset that gives you the look you want w/o spacers.

The rear should work, the E63 has wider front fenders so would fit differently on an E350.

For your Summer Mode, is the 3mm front spacer for clearance to the strut or fitment (aesthetics)? Could you fit more tire up there?

I used them for clearance at first. I used to run 275/35/19 and that tire was too close to the strut for (my) comfort. Once I had the car lowered, rubbing got worse, so I decided to give up on the meaty set up. I was going to step down to 265, but someone posted they still got some rubbing at stock ride height with the same spec wheels. So, went 255/35 and no more rubbing. Though I feel maybe one could TRY a 265/35 and TRY a 5mm spacer. But I decided to cut my losses and just went with 255. So, now, the spacers are just for looks.

Thanks for the info, I'm looking to run 265/35/19 all around if possible. Where was your biggest issue with rubbing?

I come from the e39 M5 world, and I would always run 18x9.5's to 10.5's with 275's on all 4 corners, which was a huge gain for tire wear and fantastic for eliminating understeer. I also think square setups look pretty awesome in general, and want to go that route on this car.

At stock ride height. It rubbed twd the front of the fender liner. It was inaudible and also didn't feel it. But it was evidently there.

Once lowered, though, it rubbed the inside of the fender liner; strut side. At around the 2:00 position. Every time I hit a dip or a bump at anything faster than 40 mph. Annoying as hell.
I might have seen a post somewhere on here where they went square. I think they had to use spacers in the back in order to get it to work.
My 275/35/19 on stock wheels out back look sorta weak already ... I dunno about 265s back there on these behemoths!

How 275/35/19 looked up front:

Such a great thread guys! Hopefully will be able to contribute shortly. Am looking to fill out the wheel well with maximum concave + meaty tyre combo without lowering, spacers, or camber plates. Already have clearance issues with my towbar on my daily commute. Current plan below, hoping to gain some reassurance from here that this will work:
F: 19x9.5 ET32, 265/35R19 (will this rub with ET32?)
R: 20x10 ET37, 285/30R20 (RWD not 4matic)

Would appreciate some feedback before I place an order with Koya, thanks all!

Current: OEM F 19X9 ET37, R 19x9.5 ET52 + 15mm (i think) spacers Tyres: 245/35 & 275/30. No idea why the previous owner fitted 10mm narrower all round...

On the wife’s W212. I wanted something subtle, easy to clean, and replaceable, once she cracks a wheel……went with Rotiforms. 245.35.19 (8.5F), 285.30.19 (9.5R). The car is lowered. Now it has a nice footprint, when seeing it from the rear, and maybe I’ll stop calling it “Karen’s Camry”…….

just realized I posted this in the wrong thread……I’m subscribed to this thread for inspiration……

can I get a mod to shift this to the W212 picture thread?

I have heard from a couple of members that 265/35/19 on a 19x9.5 ET35 at stock ride height (even 19x9.5 +22 265/35 lowered) rubs occasionally. Same specs but 255 will be rub free (even lowered).
I plotted your suggested specs for the rear in a tire size calculator and compared to what I run (lowered). It doesn't SEEM like it will rub.

Diameter
665.6mm to 679mm
Circumference
2091mm to 2133.1mm
Poke
84.4mm to 90mm.

The picture looks like it'd be fine, but the data says your set up would be 5.6mm further out as compared to mine (where I have maybe 1mm to spare). However, you will stay at stock ride height... so, MAYBE it will work?

Awesome! This was the direction I wanted to go but the company I contacted for wheels kept on telling me that NONE of the sizes would work.
More pics and specs, pls!

I am running 20x9.5 28et and 10.5 45et 3pc Steplips VSXX Work Wheels. Fits perfectly with no rubbing and I am lowered on KW HAS kit.

Been super busy with work and stuff so hope to get better pics soon!! Not sure why my rear looks so jacked up in this pic lol...might be just the angle!!
