Anybody know if these wheels might work on my 2012 e63 amg wagon? They are 18's The car currently has 19's and I keep bending wheels as the roads up here in Rhode Island are so bad. I figure 18's with a higher profile tire might be the answer. http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-18-...JX4fUZ&vxp=mtr
Does not say anything about offset on these wheels, but I could call and ask. They are good looking wheels. The same company has 19's listed also that says they will fit my AMG. If I got to the fitment configurator, it says these 18's will fit, but can't always go by that. Just don't want to order them and realize they are not gonna work.
Or if anybody has got 18 inch wheels, what was the type and the part number? I could look at pictures and see if I liked them and go with those, that way it would be a sure thing. Whether or not the ones I posted sounds kind of iffy, even if I call them and ask they still not be the right ones.

18" wheels, ie the oem 18" wheels, will definitely fit on the rear of any year W212 E63. The same can be said as well for the front of any non 4-matic W212 E63.
If those ebay 18" wheels don't fit, it will be because of any protrusion from the center-facing surface of the barrel.

I would be very careful purchasing rims like that off of Ebay for two reasons. First, I learned first hand that not all 18 inch aftermarket wheels will clear the brakes (particularly the rear brakes) on an E63. My first set of winter wheels for my 2011 E63 were Forgestar F14 that were ordered using the exact same offsets as the stock wheels. The rears did not clear the brakes and I had to re-order the rears with a different offset from stock to clear.
Second, the Forgestars looked fine and were relatively inexpensive, but they had frequent cracking issues. After repairing two wheels I gave up and purchased OEM Mercedes E63 wheels for my other set. So I would be careful to ensure that any wheels you buy will be quality made, and I would have no way to discern that from the Ebay wheels you flagged (even if they do look good).
I think you can get the same quality as OEM by going with a reputable brand like BBS or other rim that is known to fit on Tirerack's site (for example).
I am also selling my 18 inch OEM AMG wheels from my E63 if they might be appealing to you. See the link below in the classified section. No worries if these do not appeal to you but wanted to give my two cents on what might work better generally from personal experience.

Thanks for this. I’m in the same boat in that I feel like I’d like to try 18s for comfort. I’ve been searching for other oem 18s as well that may look nice on a pfl 212 wagon.
Of course, it does. Keeping the OEM look, more confident street driving, and better launch are the reasons I stepped down from 19 to 18 above. If one cares for drag launch in a pre-facelift W212, then having a set of just the rear 18s with grippy tires may be the ticket.

Here is the measurement for the default 19" AMG front wheel A2124015002, Option 797. Inner diameter at the hub is 450mm (17-3/4"). In contrast, the 18" AMG front wheel for bad road markets A2124014302, Option 796, has inner diameter at the hub 420mm (16-1/2"). The wheels flare wider towards the vehicle. The front 6-piston fixed AMG caliper measures 200mm (8") from the axis.
The pre-facelift W212 front brake disc cover (front left A2124201544) has an irregular shape and is different from the facelift W212 (front left A2184210120). At its maximum width of 200mm (8") from the axis, it extends to the steering rod ball joint, but then is reduced around. I have no access to the facelifted vehicle. Post your measurement here. If your cover measures up to 200mm (8"), then the 18" AMG wheel will clear.
