Not sure if its called NTG 4.5, but what all do I need to convert from my 2012 Command 4.0 to the 2014+ Style? Just the monitor and radio?

Not sure it will be cost effective. I think the dash wiring is very different and different computer modules will be needed. Check with a dealer's parts department and see what parts are common to both year models. Also the 2012 is a w212 and the 2014 is a w213, so there may be a lot of differences in dash wiring.

You would need to change the comand knob, head unit. screen. wiring harness, probably a new amplifier, and thats before having to code all of it to the car. Ask Chris the swede, he has done alot of these, or check out some of his threads.

This guy has a video series ( from the non-AMG W212 forum ) where he's fixing up a pre-facelift and installed that tablet.

That tablet would be the easiest way of refreshing your car. Depends on if you only want oem though as the tablet runs android.

Agreed. However, I do like how it appears to still work with all the OEM knobs and features and has the same design layout.

Here is the fellow's build thread on resurrecting the E63

The thing is, I can get my hands on a 2014+ navigation, just need to know what all I need from it. The monitor, radio.....etc

You can also get your hands on the above.

I think with the CANBUS systems and such, doing it OEM is going to be far more time intensive + $ - and then finding someone to do all the codes.
