AMS SW Tune - Anybody Have It? Is it Really That Good?

AMS SW Tune - Anybody Have It? Is it Really That Good?
Hey Guys,

Thinking about the AMS ECU tune. Their website boasts 700+ Hp and a whopping 830 Lb-Ft of torque from ECU tune alone. Is this for real? Considering it if true. Gonna have the cloned 2nd ECU setup.

I'm considering it on my CLS63 as I'm local to them but $3k for a tune seems very steep even though they're one of the best. I've been running a eurocharged tune on my E55 for 8 years car has 160k miles not a single issue so most likely will go with them again and its much cheaper, but we'll see still need to decide.

or you can ship it to us for a grand less, make the same gains, and we would do the clone included in the price . 😉

It's solid, I have not compared to any others but been good for me they cloned a ECU for me too. Like most tunes the power is very noticable in upper gears not so much 1-3. Im setup to test out the RennTech TCU tune next month!

My friend had an AMS Tuned CLS63s and I had a custom dyno tuned E63s and he'd beat me every time in a race. AMS provides the best tune for real-world, street tested performance. I've heard very good things about EuroCharged tune for the bi turbo motors as well.

same here, I know EC has a really aggressive stage 2 ecu file that’s supposed to be one of the best on the market.

Wish we could see a pull between the AMS and EC car and see which one is stronger in the real world.

I'm confused. I've just been researching tunes this morning. Your website says $2800 and AMS says $2900.

Is there some secret MBWorld code i don't know

thanks...good to know the EC tune runs as strong as one of the best out there, the AMs tune.
