Question anyone using ECE's "Race/Hard" motor mounts?

I have a feeling I don't want/need them, but wanting some feedback from anyone who uses them. Probably go with the "street" version, but I'm curious...

I believe Efrain @Cifdig is using them. have the street version in my car and love them. Only difference is the poly inserts and you can buy them separately from ECE if you decide you dont like whichever durometer poly you choose.

I'm using them and love them.
The engine is rock steady now. Look in my Black Boost thread for a video showing zero movement during a dyno pull.

The idle was raised a smidge to 850 rpm to eliminate any potential vibration issues with the mounts.
The car idles fine.

The mounts are well worth the money. It's a "one and done" type investment. I have gone through 3 OEM sets of engine mounts. I think of all the money spent on hardware and labor lost before I was turned on to these mounts. If you have to replace mounts... go with these over OEM. They are definitely better.

oh, for sure. Mine are done after only about 10k miles...they were new when I got the car. I like the idea of having the idle raised. I need to get my car over to Dave and have my extra ECU cloned and flashed. Maybe I can get that done at the same time in anticipation of the mounts being installed. Thanks

[BillyMadison'sPrincipal] Mr. Ubers, the link you have just posted is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in it's rambling, incoherent responses were there any even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for me having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. [\BMP]

Seriously though...what was the point? There is nothing in there that I was asking for, but thanks!

wow...take it easy...that is a quote from a movie, just modified enough to make it funny in this situation. Learn to laugh at yourself, it's okay.

Shardul do you like these Black Series mounts better than the ECE mounts? Do they last longer?

Only issue is, those are not the correct mounts, those are for m133/M156. Those will NOT work on the M157/M278. I wonder if the mounts from the R171 SLK55 AMG are stiffer? Those would work for the RWD cars(early E63 5.5 and E550 coupe) for sure. Were there any Black Series cars with157 and AWD??? If so, those should work for us as well. BUT, these are still fluid filled, right? If so, for the price difference ($450/$600), I think I'd rather have the rebuild-ability of the ECE ones.

I actually have a set of the hard mounts heading my way as we speak. Ahmad from ECE was kind enough to send a set my way on Tuesday. I'll scrutinize the **** out of them, install them, and report back later.
