Misfire due to bad #6 ignition coil?
I'm gonna pull the trigger on a 2015 E63 AMG S (black on black) from a non-MB dealer. It's a one-owner and low miles. It has clean carfax except that it has done some repair at a local shop (July of this year). So I called them to figure out what was it. They said they replaced the #6 ignition coil due to misfire. Is this a red flag? Also, I'm having hard time to purchase extended warranty for this car because it's out of factory warranty already (called Jeff and he's been super helpful providing me all the information though he couldn't sell me the warranty). Route66 only sells 1st street coverage for AMG (is this good enough?).
Btw, please also recommend good maintenance/repair shop for AMG in the greater Seattle area.

also - ask them if the car is tuned, I suspect it may be.

inspect the ecu to see if it's been opened .. there is a silicone seal that would be evident sometimes that's more sloppy by some tuners; the dealer will be able to tell you or a tuner will be able to tell you when they inspect the ecu data
time it -- 0-60 and 1/4 mile ... and compare to stock
also... colder plugs with narrow gap can reduce misfires on an aggressively tuned engine
