Do coil-overs replace Airmatic?

Dialed in they were smoother than stock, and allowed it to handle better than my 911. The on ramp out of our neighborhood has a dip in it that will unsettle 99+% of vehicles, but the Subaru soaked it up with no issues.
Highly recommend KW suspension.

Maybe I'll just do the lowering kit and keep it all.
I'm itchy for springtime and just have car cabin fever lol.
Thanks guys.

But I do wonder if you could save some weight by doing coils all around and removing all of the equipment for the air suspension? Hmmm...
Springs yes, but the shocks are AMG specific and cost an arm and a leg....
Compared to some other german cars where the airbags are special for the sportier versions and cost more (and of course because they are integrated with the shocks), we have a standard W212 bags and separate shocks in the rear, so the bag fails, we can replace just it - not the entire assembly. .
And because we don't have bags in front, it's less likely to have the multiple bag failures you see on other brands (looking at you Audi!)

What stiffens it all up when hit I the shock button?
Local shop has the KW HAS in stock but they quoted (cough) 6-8 hours lol lol lol.
I installed the front KW HAS kit in less than 1.5 hours. The rear only takes 45 min to install but takes longer to adjust. I think I spent 2 hours all in on the rear.
Take it somewhere else or DIY. It's really easy.
The kit is the same for sedans and wagons from 10-16 afaik.

There are absolutely zero good coilovers on the market for W212 E63s.
