I was not able to get a picture (driving at the time). It was definitely not an E43 as it was the matte black (not matte grey) and didn't have the diamond grille - instead it was the E63S style grille with invisible black grille with MB logo with the silver horizontal wings on either side.
Aesthetically the car looked a lot more muscular than any E class I'd seen. Much wider looking front with aggressively sculpted hood. Looked hot!
This was spotted a week or so ago on the 405 fwy (def a 63)- I think it had distributor plates though as the cars are not released yet. This was posted on a private lounge:
The one I saw in Los Altos looked exactly like this. Matte black with these same wheels.

Just told by my SA, E63S been released this afternoon in Canada, but he also mentioned there is no additional discount right now, it may just for the car was w8ing at port.

I spoke with my contact at MB- he has heard nothing, and did say if the car was released it would be a big announcement to all dealers
When units get released they very quickly get put on shipping manifests for transport (same day). Immediately they get listed as "in transport" on the dealers system. This happened within a matter of 3 hours on the e43s in the US. at that point people start hearing about how exact dates their car will arrive at the dealer. That hasn't happened for anybody whatsoever with an e63s in Canada or the US hence me saying....the info is bad. Two more weeks Spanky and we will have our cars.
They are starting to arrive here in Toronto. Deliveries most likely beginning next week. These arrived at my Dealer - Edition 1 and another this morning.

I don't think I have ever been so excited for a car, In fact I ordered a Huracan when it first came out and I don't recall being as excited..Maybe its the long drawn out wait.
No shipping cover/plastic ? it looks like it's pretty clean and only the interior plastic is ready to be removed
The drivers seat had a condom on it and the drivers door was covered in cardboard etc. The rest of both cars were completely cleaned up. There was some shipping plastic on the drivers sides but not much. I sat in the Edition 1 and started it up and revved it a bit. It was sweet...
How were the sports seats? Did it feel like you needed something softer?

so quiet here in the forum ... there must be a huge lineup (from our forum members here) at MB dealers this morning (Cdn dealers) wanting to get their E63s delivered
